How much does it cost?

If you bring your device to us at our pickup location, we charge $30 per

iPhone/iTouch. You can also purchase our software & guide for $29.99.

What is unlocking?

Unlocking your iPhone allow you to use any sim card you want. For example,

if you bought a Rogers 3GS iPhone, but you want to use Fido’s service, then you

would need to unlock your 3GS iPhone.

What is jailbreak?

Jailbreaking your iPhone/iTouch give you the ability to download thousands of

third party applications, games, block EDGE/3G, personalized ringtones and

wall papers, video/movie recorder, GPS softwares, PDF/Words/Excel

/Powerpoint editors...all FREE OF CHARGE! Reasons to jailbreak:

• Backup your data (music, contacts, photos...) as there is a 5-10% possibility that they might be deleted/removed in the jailbreak and/or unlock process.

• After jailbreak and/or unlock, if you UPDATE and/or RESTORE your iPhone/iTouch using iTunes, the jailbreak and/or unlock feature/ability will be deleted/eliminated.

• Below are some of the issues/problems/tips that all jailbroken and/or unlocked iPhone/iTouch users should be aware of. Please read it before proceeding with any (or purchase of) jailbreak and/or unlock software/service.

Issue #1

• Some users with 3GS iPhones produced after the 40th week (and all the 3rd generation iPod Touch) may experience restore mode issue after jailbreak and/or unlock. This has not yet been completely confirmed and may vary by carriers.

• Symptom: when the device is rebooted (closed, then restarted), the phone goes into restore/recovery mode.

• Resolution: download blackra1n from www.blackra1n.com, connect your device to your computer via USB cable (make sure your device is on), then start the blackra1n program, and click on "make it ra1n". Give it 5-10 minutes, and it should reboot the device.

Issue #2

• Some users (less than 3%) with jailbroken and/or unlocked iPhone/iTouch may experience technical issues with wifi and/or bluetooth. 

• Symptom: cannot detect Wifi/Bluetooth, unable to connect Wifi/Bluetooth.

• Resolution: Setting -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Setting.

• Many general technical issues/problems/bugs can be fixed by resetting your iPhone in Setting -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings.
